Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has told the families of Israeli captives that he is prepared to move forward with the US special envoy Steve Witkoff’s temporary ceasefire proposal, Al Jazeera reports citing Israeli media.
Hamas earlier released a statement saying it was studying the proposal and would make a decision “in a manner that serves the interests of our people”.
