KARACHI: The Pakistan Padel Federation (PPF) is set to launch the Pakistan Padel Ranking Cup here at Sport On Clifton from Friday.The tournament, organised in collaboration with the International Padel Federation (FIP) and Padel-Asia, will feature 44 teams competing in men’s, women’s and boys’ under-14 categories.

A total of 24 men’s teams, eight women’s teams, and 12 boys’ Under-14 teams will vie for top honours.

The three-day event carries a prize pool of up to PKR600,000 in cash prizes, trophies, certificates and shields for winners and runners-up. Matches will be played daily from 6:00 PM onwards.

The tournament will also serve as a selection platform for the Pakistan national padel team, which will represent the country at the Asian Championship in October.
