LAHORE: Police arrested on Saturday the suspects who kidnapped a woman and her children from DHA on May 22.

CCTV footage posted on different social media websites showed that three men approached a woman on a road,put her in their car and fled.

A team was made to arrest the suspects after social media users raised questions about the police performance.

The team found that the husband of the woman, Ayub, along with two other accomplices, first took away his children from the house of his wife and later also kidnapped her.

The suspect belonged to district Vehari.

The police arrested them and also recovered the woman and children from their custody.
