2 abducted in Landi Kotal

LANDI KOTAL (Khyber Agency), May 7: Two people were kidnapped in Landi Kotal on Sunday. It has been reported that the family of a local elder, Malik Abdul Haleem, forcibly removed a checkpoint established by their rivals at Chengai in Zakhakhel area. Later, they abducted Ismail Chengikhel of the rival group who had resisted its removal.

In another incident, the family of Haji Faiz Mohammad abducted Mushtaq Walikhel from Landi Kotal bazaar.

Family of the abducted man had earlier taken hostage two nephews of Faiz following a monetary dispute.
