Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the ceasefire between India and Pakistan could be threatened if the “water issue is not resolved” in the upcoming talks between the neighbours.
Failure to resolve the water issue “will amount to an act of war,” he said in an interview with CNN.
He pointed to Kashmir as “the root cause of this regional instability” and called for the region’s “future self-determination”.
