KHAR (Bajaur Agency), May 5: Suspected militants attacked a levy force checkpost with two missiles in the Nakhtar area in Mamond sub-division, on Thursday night, killing a sepoy and wounding another.

Political authorities arrested two tribesmen on suspicion of involvement in the attack.

The victim, who died on the spot, was identified as Khan Mohammad. The levy post in charge, subedar Naseeb Khan, was critically injured. He was sent to Peshawar for treatment.

Levy personnel told journalists that the first missile was fired around 1:50am. They said that the sepoys countered the attack, adding that the second missile was fired at 2am killing the sepoy.
