The Foreign Office said that India’s bogey of Pakistan as the ‘epicentre’ of terrorism, surprisingly, only resurfaces whenever Pakistan is close to decisively eliminating the menace of terrorism.

“This vicious cycle, going on for over two decades, must end now,” the FO said in a statement.

“Any distraction for Pakistan, at this critical juncture, from its monumental struggle against the scourge of terrorism and the creeping extremist ideology from its west would be to the great peril of regional peace and global stability,” it added.
