Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has met with US Acting Ambassador Natalie Baker to discuss Pakistan-India tensions and the border situation, according to a statement by the interior ministry.

He briefed Baker about the current tensions and India’s “drone terrorism”, the statement said, adding that India made a “despicable attempt to target civilian populations with drones, violating all international laws”.

The interior ministry stated that Pakistan effectively shot down dozens of drones

The statement further said, “India is solely responsible for the dangerous situation in the region.

“The entire region is on the brink of war.”

“We will never allow security to be compromised,” it added.
