The Indian Premier League (IPL) match between the Punjab Kings and the Delhi Capitals was forced to be abandoned due to a “significant technical failure” at the stadium in Dharamsala, according to ESPNCricinfo.
“Due to a power outage in the area, one of the light towers at the HPCA stadium malfunctioned,” ESPNCricinfo said.
Separately, the IPL also said the match was halted.
However, the match has been abandoned at a time when Indian media are reporting alleged attacks in occupied Kashmir.
