Colonel Sofiya Qureshi from the Indian Army’s Corps of Signals has claimed that her country targeted a base of the militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba in AJK’s Kotli, according to Times of India.
She was addressing a press briefing with Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh to address the media on the strikes India conducted on Pakistan, which it termed as “Operation Sindoor”.
Qureshi claimed that Ajmal Kasab, a gunman hanged for involvement in the 2008 Mumbai bombings, and David Headley had received training in the alleged terrorist camps.
