Sindh Police has been instructed to remain alert at all levels in light of the Indian Strikes, according to Sindh Inspector General (IG) Ghulam Nabi Memon.
In a statement issued by the Sindh Police Public Relations Office, IG Memon directed all police officers and personnel to keep an eye on and patrol bazaars, markets and public places in the cities.
He ordered the police to act proactively on information regarding any suspicious activity, terrorists, or malicious elements, the statement added.
“Pakistan Army, Air Force and Navy are on high alert at the country’s borders, while Sindh Police are on high alert against the enemy inside the province,” said IG Sindh.
He also ordered increased surveillance and checking at city borders, as well as surveillance around government and non-government buildings adjacent to the cities.
