The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has issued a comprehensive advisory as a measure for emergency preparedness in light of the recent Indian aggression.

The advisory directed the district administration offices to identify and prepare shelters including schools, community halls, and mosques. They have also been instructed to stock relief kits among other precautionary measures.

Rescue 1122 and emergency services have been ordered to maintain full operation readiness of ambulances, fire brigades and water rescue units.

All non-essential gatherings, sports events, or school functions have been suspended until further instructions. School sites are to be used for potential relief shelters or field hospitals in case of emergencies, said the statement.

Civil defense authorities have been instructed to activate raid sirens, warning systems and ensure the protection of public from aerial threats.

Citizens have been urged to remain calm and vigilant.
