These schemes are located in Mouzas Bagga Sheikhan, Chak Beli Khan, Ratial, Ralla Gujran, Kuri Khuda Bakhsh Road, Rawalpindi.

The operation led to the removing and demolition of site offices, boundary wall, road infrastructure and footpaths of the illegal housing schemes.

The crackdown was supervised by the Director General (DG) RDA, Kinza Murtaza, who vowed to continue such operations to combat fraudulent practices and protect citizens from exploitation.

She said that under the guidance of the Rawalpindi Commissioner they were committed to maintaining a vigorous approach in eliminating illegal housing societies.

She emphasised that public complaints regarding illegal land occupation by housing scheme owners are being taken seriously, and strict actions will be taken against those involved in forceful land grabs.

She said that the RDA informed the public and advises citizens to avoid investing in illegal housing schemes.

The public is encouraged to visit the RDA website (www.rda.gop.pk) and only engage with approved housing schemes. Despite previous warnings to cease illegal advertisements, bookings, and development activities, the owners of the housing schemes continued to operate booking offices in violation of regulations.
