PESHAWAR, May 4: Journalists walked out of the NWFP Assembly session on Thursday in protest against alleged manhandling of a reporter by a police official.
They demanded that the government should take action against the police official.
Provincial Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Malik Zafar Azam went to the protesting newsmen and assured them that action would be taken against the policeman.
The journalists ended their boycott after the minister’s assurance.—APP
