Bankers in last eight

KARACHI, May 1: Fancied Habib Bank Limited (HBL) cruised into the semifinal of All Sindh Akhter Abbas Memorial football tournament after crushing Pak PWD 4-0 in the quarterfinal on Monday at Mehfooz Stadium.

The bankers dominated the match for most of the time and led 1-0 at the breather.

They added three more goals in the second half to confirm their superiority.

The goals came through Shahid Saleem, Kamran, Waheed Majeed and Bilal Ahmed in 17th, 56th, 67th and 86th minute of the match.—PPI
