ISLAMABAD: A fire erupted at the Serena Hotel in Islamabad on Friday, but fortunately, no injuries or damage were reported.

The fire started on the top floor, specifically in the cooling tower area, due to a short circuit in the HVAC system. Firefighters quickly responded and extinguished the flames with the help of four fire engines.

The hotel’s emergency response team, in coordination with local fire services, swiftly contained the fire without evacuating guests or staff.

The hotel management confirmed that the incident occurred during routine maintenance, and their emergency protocols were promptly activated.
