LAHORE: A contingent comprising 484 players will represent Punjab in the 35th National Games being held in Karachi next month.

The trials to select 600 individuals are in progress in different cities of Punjab to pick the players for the 15-day training camps, starting from April 14, separately in 20 games.

Of them, final selection of players for the national games will be made.

The trial venues in Lahore include, badminton and table tennis at NPSC Gymnasium Hall, Taekwondo at NPSC Elite Training Centre, athletics at the Punjab Stadium, swimming at NPSC International Swimming Complex, tennis at NPSC International Tennis Stadium, hockey at National Hockey Stadium, weightlifting at PSB Coaching and Training Centre, basketball at GCU, Lahore, fencing at University of Lahore, Bhopatian Chowk, rugby at Rugby Ground, Askari 10, DHA.

Meanwhile, trials for handball and kabaddi are being held in Faisalabad.
