TOBA TEK SINGH, May 1: A married woman was raped by two men, including a patwari, at Gojra on Sunday night. ‘R’ was sleeping along with her children when patwari Faiz Ahmad and his three accomplices forced their entry into her house in Asghar Colony at around midnight. They took her to another room at gunpoint where Faiz and one his accomplices Amjad raped her.

His accomplices Dilawar Malik and Puppoo Masih also attempted to rape her but her neighbours rushed to her house on hearing her cries and the accused had to flee.

Her husband is reportedly out of the country in connection with his job. Gojra city police have registered a case without any arrest.

PROTEST: The Gojra PPP organised a protest camp at Malkanwala Chowk on the call given by the party high command against price hike, unemployment and lawlessness.
