FAISALABAD, May 1: PML-N parliamentary leader in Punjab Assembly Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that All Parties Conference scheduled to be held next month will decide the options of boycotting or contesting of general elections.

Speaking at a news conference here on Monday, he said the Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting held in London with party chief Mian Nawaz Sharif in the chair had unanimously decided that efforts would be made against dictatorship.

He said there was absolutely no question of any deal with rulers.

He said a series of workers’ conventions had been finalised in various parts of the country for preparation of general elections. He said a workers convention would be held at Faisalabad press club on May 6 which would be addressed by many local and central party leaders.

He said the government had failed to deliver as the law and order situation was deteriorating and jobless youths were committing suicides.

He demanded announcement of schedule for general elections under the control of an independent and impartial caretaker government.

MPA Sheikh Ijaz Ahmed, former MNA Mian Abdul Mannan and a number of local PML-N leaders were also present during the news conference.
