LAHORE, April 30: A security guard of a bank on Sunday made off with millions after breaking 28 lockers in Allama Iqbal Town. Manager Raja Azad Gul told police that he together with some staff visited the bank to complete some file work ahead of labour day off on Monday (today).

No response was found to repeated attempts by the manager for getting the branch opened. He called in the police who broke into and found the lockers broken up.

The guard, Muhammad Aslam, was found missing. The manager said a total loss was yet to be determined. Further investigation is under way.
