MUZAFFARGARH: Two youths were killed and three others injured in a motorcycle race collision during wheelie stunts on Kot Addu’s Patal Road, about 40 kilometres from the Muzaffargarh city area, on Tuesday.

Rescue 1122 said that a group of youngsters organised a motorcycle race, during which Abu Bakar and Abdullah died when their motorcycles collided head-on, while three others sustained serious injuries.

The injured youths were shifted to the THQ hospital for treatment, while bodies were shifted to hospital for post-mortem.

SUICIDE: A man shot at and injured his son in a fit of rage and later allegedly died by suicide in Basti Kakwani, Alipur tehsil, on Wednesday.

Police said that Ghulam Abbas killed him self after injuring his son, Kashif, during a bitter argument over a land dispute.

The body and the injured were shifted to the hospital.

Rehana, the wife of Ghulam Abbas, approached Alipur police station and filed a complaint against her deceased husband.

The police registered a case under Section 302 against him.

Further investigations are underway.

RESCUED: A 10-year-old boy was kidnapped at gunpoint from the Rangpur police station limits. However, the police rescued him within seven hours using modern technology and arrested the accused.

District Police Officer Dr Rizwan Ahmed took notice of the incident and ordered Rangpur police to recover the child, forming a special team.

The police said Abbas Raza was playing outside his house in Ada Juawana Bangla when armed men on a motorcycle kidnapped him.

His family approached the police, after which the DPO formed a special team which used mobile tracking and modern technology to locate and recover the child within hours.

The police also arrested the accused and registered a case against them.

The DPO claimed that the suspects had been involved in multiple cases of ransom and extortion.

According to the FIR, complainant Allah Nawaz alleged that Abbas was playing outside his house when Muzammil, Abdul Rahman and three unidentified culprits arrived on motorcycles and abducted him at gunpoint.
