RAWALPINDI, April 29: Two brothers were shot dead by their rivals in the jurisdiction of Westridge police on Saturday, police said. Talib Khan and Mir Zalik had an old dispute over a marriage issue with their two relatives, Bhadar Shah and Ashiq Hussain.
On Friday night, Talib and Mir Zalik came to Bhadar Shah’s house and had a quarrel with him, during which they pulled out their pistols and shot Bhadar dead. They also shot and injured Asif Hussain when he came to rescue his brother.
The injured was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital where he died in the wee hours of Saturday. The alleged killers escaped from the scene.
