The Israeli occupation army has ordered a full evacuation of the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood in Rafah, southern Gaza, demanding the area’s population to immediately leave their homes and head north to the al-Mawasi region, Wafa reports.
In a post on social media, the occupation army instructed those present in the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood to evacuate and move on foot to the so-called “humanitarian area” in the al-Mawasi region, the area that has witnessed numerous massacres of innocent civilians by the Israeli army since the beginning of the onslaught in October 2023.
The al-Mawasi area also lacks essential infrastructure, including water and basic services, as it is an uninhabited area. It faces severe health and environmental crises, with diseases and epidemics spreading.
The displaced families are facing immense difficulties in relocating elderly individuals, patients, and their essential needs, especially since the occupation is preventing movement by vehicles, according to Wafa.
