PARACHINAR: Three people were killed and another was injured when a hand grenade went off inside an under-construction house in Parachinar, the headquarters of the Kurram district, on Saturday.

The police arrested one person from the house and started an investigation into the incident.

According to SHO Parachinar city police station Ishtiaq Hussain, some addicts were taking ice drug inside the under-construction house when they fell out and one of them detonated a hand grenade. As a result, three people were killed and another was injured, he added.

Meanwhile, a mourning gathering was held at the main Imambargah in Parachinar to mark the martyrdom day of Hazrat Ali (AS).
