Aamir cracks century

KARACHI, April 28: A superb unbeaten century by Aamir Iqbal led Mohammad Hussain (MHCC) to snatch their first victory in final rounds of KCCA Centenary Inter-club cricket tournament after crushing Landhi Friends by nine wickets on Thursday at Landhi Gymkhana ground.

Chasing a target of 211 runs, the winners achieved it easily for the loss of only one wicket in 33 overs, with Aamir hammering 11 fours in his unconquered 100 run knock.

Besides, Fahad Iqbal and Faheem Ahmed scored 62 and 39 runs.

Earlier, Landhi Friends were restricted to 210-5 in stipulated 40 overs.

Aleem Moosa and Faheem Ahmed grabbed two wickets apiece while Adnanur Rehman (67) and Zeeshan Rehman (50) were the main scorers for the losers.
