Win for Hassan and Mudassar

ISLAMABAD, April 26: Hassan Raza and Mudassar Mushtaq won men's singles event in the POF Open badminton tournament on Wednesday at the POF Sports Complex.

Hassan outplayed Mehboob 15-5, 15-6 while Mudassar defeated Waqas 15-5, 15-8.

Results (men's singles): Hassan Raza bt Mehboob 15-5, 15-6; Mudassar Mushtaq bt Waqas 15-5, 15-8; Sajjad bt Shamim 15-4, 15-4; Amir Abbas bt Aftar 15-5, 15-4; Amir Niaz bt Nisar Ahmed 15-13, 12-15, 15-11; Kashif Saghir bt Zahid 15-6, 15-3; Zaheer bt Gulzar 15-17, 15-8, 15-9.

Men's doubles: Amir-Mudassar bt Ghaffar-Waqas 15-4, 15-3; Amir-Kashif bt Amir-Talat 15-4, 15-5.

Boys' under-14: Adil Nasir bt Asif Ali 11-5, 11-7.
