Wajih steers NG into semis

KARACHI, April 25: Wajihuddin cracked a sparkling half century to steer Nazimabad Gymkhana into the semifinals of the KCCA inter-club cricket championship with an eight-wicket win over Cantt Sports at the TMC ground on Monday.

Wajihuddin hit eight fours and three sixes in his 61 as Nazimabad Gymkhana reached their target of 127 in 14.1 overs. Earlier, medium-pacer Ali Mudassar took three for 12 and off-spinner Iqbal Shaikh claimed three for 17 as Cantt Sports were bowled out for 126
