NAROWAL: Shakargarh police have registered a case against a man for allegedly attempting to sexually assault a 15-year-old girl at village Chhani Negrota.
A labourer ‘A’ complained to the police that his daughter went to a shop for buying some eatables and did not return home. He said after a search he found his daughter in a house and a youth ‘Wa’ was attempting to rape her. The complainant said on seeing him, the suspect managed his escape.
Shakargarh Saddar police have registered a case against the suspect under section section 376iii/511.
ROBBERY: An unidentified robber looted a landlord in Shakargarh.
Tariq Mehmood, a resident of Jhangi village, told the police that he was returning home on his motorcycle from Stop Qasim after selling buffaloes. He said at around 11:30am, an unidentified armed suspect stopped him in the fields at gunpoint.
According to Tariq, the robber forcibly took Rs490,000 in cash, a smartwatch worth Rs100,000, and a brand-new CD-125 motorcycle valued at Rs250,000. After snatching the valuables, the suspect fled the scene.
At Tariq Mehmood’s request, Shakargarh Saddar police have registered a first information report against the unidentified robber under Section 392 of Pakistan Penal Code.
