MUZAFFARGARH: The Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital marked on Monday the fourth year of its free-of-cost clubfoot programme for children.

According to hospital management, 40 children were treated in 2021, 30 in 2022, 35 in 2023, and another 40 in 2024, after which 737 children were registered so far. “Children who are once born with disabilities are now walking confidently and leading a normal life,” said orthopaedic consultant Dr Gohar Nawaz Khan.

The event drew senior medics from different medical institutions.

Dr Shahid Qamar Rao, Principal of Nishtar Medical University, Multan, hailed the extensive services of Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital, saying that the hospital was providing treatment not only to the local population but also to children from remote areas and other provinces.
