Transporter killed in car race

LAHORE, April 21: A transporter was killed when his car rammed into a tree in Fortress Stadium on Friday. Police said that two cars were racing when one driver lost control over the wheel and the car struck against a tree. He was rushed to hospital where he died.

He was identified as Shahid Latif. He came from Karachi to attend a marriage ceremony of his cousin. In the other incident, a woman was crossing the road when a bus hit her killing her on the spot.
