MIRPURKHAS: Three private security guards were injured when they were attacked with clubs and axes by some men near the Digri Sugar Mills along Tando Ghulam Ali Road on Friday. A stray bullet hit a woman passing by the troubled spot when someone used firearms during the brawl.

The guards were trying to maintain order during distribution of handout at the mills. It was said that an altercation took place between the guards and some unruly people, seeking the handout, before the violent incident.
