TOBA TEK SINGH: Two bogies of a goods train carrying coal from Hyderabad to Faisalabad caught fire suddenly at Shorkot Cantonment railway station on Wednesday.

Rescue 1122 firefighters extinguished the blaze, which broke out for unknown reasons. Rescue sources suggested that the fire might have been caused by someone throwing a burning cigarette near the bogies.

Each bogie was loaded with 70 tonnes of coal. After ensuring that the fire was completely extinguished, the train resumed its journey to Faisalabad following a two-hour delay.
