CEC to observe Thai Senate poll

ISLAMABAD, April 16: Chief Election Commissioner Justice (R) Qazi Muhammad Farooq on the invitation of his Thai counterpart has left for Bangkok to observe the election of members of the House of Senators of Thailand.

Mr Farooq will also attend a seminar on “international electoral observers” on April 17.

Federal Secretary at the Election Commission Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad is accompanying the chief election commissioner.—APP
