SHIKARPUR, April 16: Activists of Jeay Sindh Mahaz (Zain) offered ‘Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza’ outside Lakhi Gate Jamia Masjid on Sunday evening for 58 persons including leading ulema killed in Tuesday’s bomb blast at Nishtar Park, Karachi.

They prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear the loss.

Later, the party workers staged a demonstration at Lakhi Gate to protest against the blast.

Man, boy killed: A man and his six-year-old nephew were killed in an exchange of fire between two rival groups in the Bado village in the jurisdiction of Dakhan police station.
