ISLAMABAD, April 16: Afghan Minister for Culture and Youth Syed Makhdoom Rahim said that work on publishing the Holy Quran with translation in Pushto language had been started.
He said that for the first time in Afghanistan’s history, the Holy Quran had been translated into the Pushto language, which would soon be available to the people.
The Holy Quran has been translated by a council of experts and it is expected that it will have 1,230 pages, Radio Tehran reported.— APP
