KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said on Friday that the ongoing problem of gas loadshedding in Sindh had reached an alarming level.

In a statement, he said people were facing severe hardships due to the gas scarcity, which was adversely impacting daily life and industrial activities.

He said that entire Sindh, including Karachi, had been badly affected by the gas loadshedding, which created widespread uncertainty and disappointment among the people.

The minister said that the federal government should take immediate and concrete steps to address this issue and ensure an uninterrupted gas supply during the winter.

He asserted that it was the responsibility of the federal government to ensure fair distribution of natural resources, and the prime minister and the federal government should resolve the issue on a priority basis.
