TOBA TEK SINGH: A would-be groom died after his hand got trapped in an electric fodder cutting machine in Chak 155-GB, Chahlan, Gojra, on Thursday.

Reports said Muhammad Sajawal Gujjar whose marriage was scheduled after three days was cutting fodder on the machine when his hand got trapped in the machine, which amputated his whole arm. He was shifted by the Gojra THQ Hospital where doctors referred him to Faisalabad Allied Hospital. He expired in hospital due to bleeding.

CAUGHT: Scores of villagers caught goat thieves and set their loader rickshaw on fire at Chak 179 GB, Gojra.

Two suspects were fleeing after stealing goats from the outhouse of Muhammad Talha when the locals chased them. They not only tortured both severely but also torched their rickshaw. The suspects, identified as Khalid and Nazir of Sadhar, Faisalabad, were handed over to the Gojra Saddar police.

GANG-RAPE: Dijkot police of Faisalabad arrested three youths who had gang-raped and killed a 13-year-old boy two days ago at Chak 270-RB, Majhiwal.

Police spokesperson claimed that suspects had confessed to committing the crime.

In a separate incident at village Sheikh Musa, tehsil Tandlianwala, three persons had been arrested by Bahlak police. The suspects had gang-raped and killed a five-year-old boy three days ago.
