PESHAWAR, April 15: Speakers at a condolence reference on Saturday paid tribute to the late nationalist leader Khan Abdul Wali Khan for his statesmanship and struggle for people’s rights.

The reference was organized by the Mardan chapter of the Awami National Party to highlight the services of Wali Khan for democratic system and a just economic order in the country.

During 48 years of an untiring struggle, Wali Khan had undergone various trials and tribulations but never gave up his political ideology, the speakers said.
