KARACHI, April 14: The three sisters recently converted from Hinduism to Islam have wished that their parents should also come into the fold of Islam which is the only true religion of the world.

“It is the world’s most beautiful religion and we have no repentance on embracing Islam”, Nida (Reena), Afshan (Reema) and Anum (Oosha) said in an interview here on Friday.

The three sisters, who were allowed by the court to stay at Madressah Talimul Quran, said they were studying Holy Quran for the last one year and Islamic teachings impressed their hearts and minds so much that they wished to become Muslims.

These three sisters were living with their parents in Punjab Colony and received education on Hindu religion. But after studying Islam from their friends and through other means like various TV programmes and Islamic literature they decided to embrace Islam.

The girls said that their parents got very disturbed over this decision and also pressed them to revert back to Hinduism but they (the sisters) refused and even tried to make their parents embrace Islam but failed.

One day, the sisters said, although there were restrictions on them from going out of the house, they got an opportunity and reached Madressah Arabia where they were blessed by Mufti Abubakr for embracing Islam.

“We have studied Geeta and Bible, but after going through Islamic books, we felt as if someone is attracting us and a day came when we had no control over ourselves “, they said.

They said that the court’s decision established that the minorities were quite independent in Pakistan, where there was complete religious freedom.

They said they were now living in Madressah Talimul Quran where they felt like home.

They also expressed their desire to perform Haj and sought support of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in this regard. — APP
