ISLAMABAD, April 14: The CBR will hold quarterly conferences to discuss the proposals for the budget 2006-07. An official announcement made by the CBR said that the conferences, to start from April 24 to 26, would also discuss the data of the CBR employees to be retained in the re-structured tax administration.

The conferences will review in detail the performance of the tax commissionerates and Customs and Sales Tax collectorates in third quarter of the current financial year, besides the strategy to achieve revenue collection targets fixed for the last quarter and the follow-up action on the decisions taken in the third quarterly conference held in January last.
