Over-50 title for Asad

LAHORE, April 12: Asad Niaz won the over- 50 singles finals in the ITF Seniors Pakistan Circuit tennis tournament at the Defence Stadium on Wednesday.

Asad defeated Mushtaq Ahmed 6-2, 6-2 to win the Above 50 singles final.

Earlier on Monday Naveed Najam defeated Laeeq Pirzada 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 in the over- 60 final.

Results:

Over -50 singles (finals): Asad Niaz bt Mushtaq Ahmed 6-2, 6-2.

Over -60 singles (finals): Naveed Najam bt Laeeq Pirzada 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.

Over- 60 doubles (finals): Naveed Najam-Ashraf bt Laeeq Pirzada-Rana Zulifqar 7-6 (4), 6-4.

Over- 50 doubles (finals): Asad Niaz-Ali Akbar bt Rao Iftikhar-Zahid Zafar 6-2, 6-3.

Over-40 doubles (finals): Mohammad Khalid-Asif Feroze bt Inamul Haq-Jamil 6-4, 6-3.
