QUETTA: The Balochistan High Court Bar Association elections concluded with the Professional Panel winning seven out of 10 key positions, whereas Advocate Mir Attaullah Lango from the Independent Panel became the president after securing 457 votes.

Polling took place on Saturday at the Balochistan High Court, beginning at 8am and continuing without interruption until 5pm. Lawyers from across the region actively participated in the voting.

Other lawyers who were elected as office-bearers included Senior Vice President Jamil Bostan who secured 344 votes, Vice President (Quetta) Asmatullah Achakzai 415 votes, Vice President (Zhob) Musa Jan Kakar 438 votes, Vice President (Kalat) Elahi Bakhsh Mengal 358 votes, General Secretary Najeeb Uddin Agha 403 votes, Joint Secretary Samira Abid 399 votes, Finance Secretary Ayaz Kakar 417 votes, Library Secretary Sinan Hoth 356 votes and Press Secretary Abdul Qadir 392 votes.
