Three officials kidnapped from CPEC site in Dera Ismail Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: An officer of the communication and works department, Tank district, along with two colleagues was abducted from the site of a China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project here the other day.

A police official confirmed on Saturday that the official was kidnapped along with his two colleagues.

He said that sub-divisional officer of C&W, Tank, Muqarrab Khan, along with two colleagues, including an accountant and a driver, was taken away from the CPEC project site in Dera Ismail Khan on Friday by unidentified armed men.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for kidnapping the three officials.
