ISLAMABAD: The government on Monday claimed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s address to the UN General Assembly was the most viewed speech of any world leader on the official YouTube Channel of the United Nations.

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) quoted the statistics of UN Centre for Public Opinion Research as saying that PM Shehbaz’s address has become the most viewed video on the UN official channel.

His address to the UN General Assembly session was watched by 1,370,000 viewers, the PMO asserted.

It said the UN official channel had live streamed speeches of the world leaders.

Furthermore, around 1.6 million viewers watched PM Shehbaz’s address on the TikTok account of Al Jazeera, it added.
