GUJRANWALA, Feb 4: A jobless man killed his mother-in-law in Qila Dedar Singh on Monday.

The wife of Abdul Sattar had gone to her parents when he could not make both ends meet. Sattar went there to bring her back. But his mother-in-law Fatima Bibi refused to send her daughter with him.

This led to exchange of hot words between them and Sattar opened fire, killing her on the spot.

Police registered the case against the accused.
