QUETTA: The families and relatives of missing persons staged a rally in the provincial capital on Saturday to observe the International Day of the Disappeared.

The protesters, including women and children, gathered at the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) camp near the Quetta Press Club and before marching on the Adalat road.

They were carrying posters of their missing relatives and chanted slogans before gathering in front of the press club.

VBMP leaders Nasarullah Baloch, Mama Qadeer Baloch and others addressed the crowd and expressed their serious concern over the authorities’ failure to recover missing students and political activists.

They said the number of missing persons was increasing in Balochistan with time.
