KARACHI: Young man found dead

KARACHI, March 30: An unidentified body of a young man was recovered in Manghopir on Thursday. Police said that body had strangulation marks around his neck. The body was found at a desolated place near a cement factory. Police sent the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem.

DIES: Body of a minor boy was recovered from a storm drain from the limits of Taimuria police station on Thursday.

The minor was missing since March 22 from his house in Shaheenabad, and his body was recovered from the same area, police said.

The parents had informed the police about the minor boy’s disappearance. Police sent the body to Abbasi Hospital for legal formalities.

ACCIDENT: A minibus driver died and several passengers were injured when the minibus rammed into an electric pole on Thursday.

Police said that driver of the (D-7) minibus Naeem died on the spot while several passengers suffered serious injuries. They were taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment, police said.
