GUJRANWALA, March 28: National Assembly’s Kashmir committee chairman Chaudhry Hamid Nasir Chattha says the government is serious in holding general elections next year as its constitutional term ends on Nov 16, 2007.
Speaking at a youth wing convention in Wazirabad on Tuesday, he said though Islamabad was soft on the Kashmir issue, India was not ready to change its stance. He urged the global powers to play their role in resolving the issue
