ISLAMABAD: During the last month, Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) received 10,481 complaints during open kutcheries (public meetings), out of which 10,449 have been resolved.

Various complaints were registered in 126 sub divisional officer (SDO) offices. The company has encouraged the public to participate in open forums to ensure timely resolution of their electricity-related issues. According to a statement, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Iesco Mohammad Naeem Jan made an unannounced visit to various SDO offices in the Islamabad Circle where open kacharies were being held in order to review their progress.
