ISLAMABAD, Feb 4: Commerce Minister Abdul Razak Dawood has said the government has established a better credibility in the world by hard work and good governance.

He expressed these views while addressing a big gathering of industrialists, importers and entrepreneurs at London on Monday morning, says a message received here from UK.

Razak Dawood, who is presently on an official visit to UK, addressed the gathering before leaving London for the US this morning.

The minister said after tragic incident of September 11, and despite difficulties the economic indicators of Pakistan’s economy had started showing positive results.

However, he said there was still a long and difficult journey which was to be passed through and could only be achieved by continuing the present economic policies.

There is no doubt that measures taken by the government have resulted in restoring national pride at international level.

With reference to the transfer of money and investment in Pakistan, the minister assured the gathering that trade activities are continuing as usual in Pakistan.

In this regard the minister dispelled any doubt in any one’s mind about the capability of Pakistan.

Abdul Razak advised the business community in UK to come forward for investment in Pakistan.—APP
